My Story

 

I’m a passionate Alexander Technique and yoga teacher who has personally experienced the transformation that the combination of these two practices can give. For years I lived a restricted life with repetitive strain injury and regularly experienced pain when I ventured into more strenuous activities. Through learning and practising the Alexander Technique, I have gained a practical understanding of the way we’re designed to move, how to apply this to my own movement and how to teach others to do the same. Our posture is the embodiment of our approach to life. Hence, becoming aware of how we’re sitting, standing and walking can open the door to changing our very way of living. Thanks to the Technique, I have learned how to swing my hips freely while I salsa. I've learned to be poised and enjoy speaking and singing to an audience, and these days I relish a steep hill climb and look for new adventures.
 

I am a certified teacher of both the Alexander Technique and Alexander Yoga.
